Picks from the archives: The Watercress Line - Arlesford
Trying to get this newsletter back on the road, I turn to my drafts for inspiration
The drafts folder of any blog platform becomes cluttered with ideas at times and mine is absolutely terrible! I thought it would be a nice idea to finish some of them off for the fun of it.
It’s also nice to go back through some photos and events of the past year, like this lovely signal box I came across at, you’ve guessed it - Arlesford in Hampshire. Our visit to the Watercress Line that gorgeous day in April was one of our first real days out in a very long time and it was my birthday too.
The day was weird and wonderful all at once because our temperatures were checked by the gentlemen in the Victorian clothing, who were of course wearing masks.
Seemed like a surreal episode right out of Dr Who!
